Single Rose laid at the Canadian Aboriginal War Veterans Monument in Ottawa, Canada on November 11, 2002

This picture was taken at the Canadian Aboriginal War
Veterans Monument in Ottawa, Canada on November 11, 2002.
The single red rose and the poppies say more than any words can.

When people speak, they are not always heard and understood.
When people put their thoughts to pen, they are often exposing themselves
and their inner most feelings. These written words are easier to understand
sometimes and are always there for those who wish to hear them.

The collection below drew me; and the words and meanings have stayed
with me, as they were meant to. I hope you enjoy the following works as
much as I do and that you gain some insight into the authors and what
they went through to create these fine works.

I am humbled to know a little about each of these authors and
their personal lives. I thank them all for allowing me to present
their fine work on these pages.
